A lot has happened to Greece like the Persian Wars, and the Peloponnesian War. In the book Greece is in its gold age and while this is happening Macedon is getting rid of the Persians in their homeland and getting ready to invade Greece.

In Hellenic history Botsford talks about how ancient Greece did during the Bronze Age(2000-600 BC) and the Iron Age(600 BC-200 AD. He also talks about Greece during the Persian wars. Greece used their phalanx formation to defeat the Persian army at the battle of Plataea(497 BC).

Roosevelt made 215 National Forests. so basically all the National forests we have today. He also doubled the amount of national parks and created 51 wildlife refugees.

The book talks about how Roosevelt is creating a lot of national forests and how he helps the nation conserve it's resources.

Theodore Roosevelt is the 26th president of the United States. He did many things for the United States. So far in the story, I'm reading how he became a conservationist.

There are many characters in this book. The main chaarcter is Eli who is this rich kid. His dad owns YK(a company) the biggest computer manufactuer and software developer in the world.

The four main characters, Peter, Susan, Lucy, and Edmund Pevensie were forced to leave their home because of the blitz. They were picked up by a lady and were taken to a house. When they were playing hide and go seek, Lucy found this mysterious door and went into the world of Narnia for the very first time. Lucy was shocked and she told the others. They didn't believe her until they entered Narnia.

After camp-half blood has been poisoned by someone, Percy decides to save the camp, but the new camp counselor doesn't really like Percy. Percy then sneaks out of camp with Annabeth and Tyson who is his half brother. Percy finds out that Luke is the one who poisoned the camp and he wants revenge for what Percy has done to him.

It was the last of school and Percy Jackson was excited to get out of there. Person had a new friend in school. Tyson was a cyclops and Percy had no idea. Percy didn't know that Tyson was his half brother and then Percy starts to freak out. Percy met Annabeth for the first time in about a year and he had nightmares about his friend Grover he thinks is in trouble. Many things has happened while Percy was away.

I already read the first one so I decided to read the second one, after I heard it was really good.

There are many new characters in the book so far like Attila the Hun and Bleda(Attila's brother). The Huns are now Europe helping the Roman Empire fighting off the barbarians. The reason why the Huns are helping the Romans is because the Romans are paying them tribute. But when the Romans don't give them tribute the Huns start to attack the Roman Empire.

In this part of the story I have been introduced to a people in Mongolia known as the Xiongnu(Ancient Huns). The Xiongnu are a very powerful people who created a powerful empire in Northern Asia. One of the Xiongnu groups, the Huns are now on their way to Europe trying to find a place where they can permanently settle.

The story first starts with an introduction like normal stories. It gives us(the reader) background information about Attila the Hun. The story starts with the failure of a Roman expedition in Germany. Then the author talks about how the Roman Empire fell.

Book Review 2: In the Red Pyramid many things happened. An Egyptoloist named Julius Kane has a son and daughter who are the main characters. Their names are Carter and Sadie Kane. They both find out that their dad his holding a secret and that they are descended from Pharaohs who lived a long time ago.

Book Review 1: Well many things happened in the Odysseus. Odysseus almost died many times but he still managed to survive. When Odysseus ripped out the eye of Polyphemus he had no idea what he had done. After many months in sea Odysseus had fought many people and has been to many islands. Some of these islands were often hostile to him. Odysseus eventually returned home.

Telemachus the son of Odysseus still believes that his father is alive and has decided to go look for him. Telemachus is going to meet several kings because he wants to know if they know what happened to his father. Once Telemachus met both kings he found out that his father is still alive. Now that Telemachus knows this he is know going to Ithaca his home.

Now that Odysseus is out of the island of Calypso, he was stuck on the island Phaeacia where Nausicaa the daughter of King Alcinous saw him. He was then treated like a king and when Odysseus told King Alcinous who he was and what has happened him., the king said he would bring Odysseus back home. After a couple of weeks in Phaeacia Odysseus finally came home.

Well a lot of stuff has happened, Odysseus has been to many places, like Circe's island. But after a while he then loses his whole entire army after going past Charybdis and Scylla the six- headed monster. But before that he had to get past the Sirens. He is currently stuck in the island of Calypso.

Odysseus has now left Troy. He and his soldiers ripped out the eye of Polyphemus and Poseidon wants revenge. Before they were able to get to their home, one of the soldiers opened a bag of winds and they are now far away from their home.

There are two main characters in this story. The first main character is Carter Kane. The second character is his younger sister, Sadie Kane. Their father Dr. Julius Kane is an Egyptologist.

Peter the great eventually became Czar of Russia. Then he became Emperor of Russia. Russia soon lost it's title of world power in WW1(1914-1918).

During this time Russia wasn’t really powerful, they had an economic crisis. They didn’t have a permanent navy. So it was hard for Russia to get overseas colonies in the new world. Like North America, South America, but they managed to get colonies in Alaska an one settlement in California(Fort Ross). So far Peter the Great hasn’t become Czar of Russia.
