See, this is what i love about Cassandra Clare's writing. Upon starting this book never could i have guessed we would end up in a post apocaliptic world. A complete surprise i couldn't have seen coming and yet it makes complete sense within the plot of the book. Interesting to see an alternative version of what could have happened. Cassie set my high standards with books since i was young.

Loved the change of scenery, it's no nice to go back to London! I also love that in this book the twins and Kit have more independence and do some things on their own. I think it's what i missed most in LM. That also means Julian, Emma, Cristina and Mark can do things on their own too, and the plot moves faster.

Okay this is so much better than Lady Midnight already. Turn out perhaps i simply dont like murder investigations, same thing happened to me with CC. Now we finally have some adventureeees

I'm not sure i like emma that much tbh. The book is extremely repetitive in certain aspects. I don't connect with the characters as much. I only like Mark. And for a doomed love story there isn't enough drama. meh meh meh.
