Excellent, very thorough. A brick…

A bedside book I sort of forgot about, a mixed bag, have to dip back in..

So good, so heartbreaking, so enraging, can only do a bit at a time..

I have to set this aside- I keep rereading the first chapter and getting nowhere..

I have restarted this three times and I’m debating whether or not to go for a fourth..

Another for the reading challenge, fantasy- not my thing. It’s very well done so it’s moving along… won’t make a convert of me though

Holy fuck it’s endless…

Another book for the Library reading challenge I do with my daughter every year, and man this is such a nice surprise so far. Has a bubbling theatricality that I find irresistible.

Yes, this is as good as the first time I read it, but I have to say, that this is much better read than listened to. I am mostly a listener, but this book calls for a moment of reflection and a daydream in between its passages .

Please be as good this time as the first 🤞

5 big fat stars! I started the Lincoln highway in Nebraska and decided to listen to this. I got so worried about the two boys I had to stop. Picking up the Lincoln highway again Pennsylvania I decided to listen again and I’m so glad I did. This was fantastic

Listening to this as I’m chugging along in an old pickup truck feeling guilty for enjoying and engaging in “windshield wilderness “… I don’t want to fly in Trump’s US though..

I can’t finish this

This is what I imagine “Crazy Rich Asians” was like, but Persian . Madly disappointed

Rereading , paying a little more attention this time. Feeling more sympathetic towards the characters

The amount of time spent with neurotics in this book is too much. We don’t need every single minute detail of the quotidian
