I don't usually read love triangle books but the blurb seemed fun and it is. One ml is just no. Scummy. Another one I feel like is mostly innocent though communication skills be lacking. Last one is the most outwardly dickish but I'm 90% sure he was dropped on his head as a baby so I'm willing to be lenient....ish.

I don't know if I agree that suicide was inevitable. A million little things can save someone or damn them when you're deeply sick like that. You can't control what another person might do, but death by suicide is not inevitable. It's a tipping of scales.

The sheer amount of judgement from everyone else about Tyler struggling with trauma, depression etc hits really close to home. I want to smack everyone. Mostly Rachel. Mental illness has nothing to do with 'weak will'. Go fuck yourself.

I really don't like Jake as a character. Who the fuck tells a widower “I’ve spent three years waiting for you to be ready to move on from Sam and go back to having fun."

And this is somehow fine???

I hate it when people tell widowers to move on and date someone else. Like it's a requirement. Like if someone dies you have to stop loving them. And if you do date someone else, that you have to forget the person who came before.
