These weird, 4th wall breaking chapters randomly thrown in, wtf? It's really awkward and disrupts the storytelling.

It's not working for me so far:
-The only attraction so far seems to be that one MC likes to dress in female clothing and the other is attracted to guys in female clothing. I don't feel a more personal interest
-The 'secret' is telegraphed from miles away and it's kinda embarrassing to keep it up until now
-The sex scene is awkward and 'cock samba' should be scrubbed from every dictionary.

Ok, we are getting somewhere. All the wedding chapters were just supposedly funny shenanigans, with Luc being somewhat mean and Oliver being his inoffensively neutral persona and while I found the death and funeral quite a tonal dissonance to the weddings before, at least Luc and Oliver are actually talking to each other in a serious, meaningful way and there is some character development.

There is actually more private couple interaction in this part, but Luc is frankly a dick to him (and plenty other people) most of the time and Oliver is lifeless. I remember him a lot more spirited in the first book, or is that just my imagination?
Also, the first book was very good about accurately, but not explicitly, portraying the MCs emotions. I have no idea what either of them are feeling through most of this.

This part has at least some more couple interaction in it. It still feels a bit stilted, somehow. I don't get any genuine excitement about the wedding proposal, which is a shame.

So, one third spent on generic wedding mishaps (and not even the MCs wedding). I'm kinda bored and not invested in this at all. Oliver is barely in this and he really is my favorite of the two.

When I read a second book about a couple, I want more of that couple. Not for half of the couple to go on a weird romp to find their best friend's fiance.
Get to some actual couply stuff, please, book?

Was Mark that crazy in the first book? He seemed to have leveled up... a lot.
