"The Catholic Church of Ravenna, under Pope Felix IV (526-532), it's annual income amounted to 12,000 solidi, roughly 166 pounds of gold. In addition to this, it also collected dues in kind; around the middle of the sixth century, these consisted of 888 hens, 266 chicks, 8,800 eggs, 3,760 pounds of pork, and 3,450 pounds of honey per year."
