This book contains a total of 8 number of stories. Each one differs from the other, but most of them are crime stories. I got kind of urban legend vibes from these stories. Ruskin Bond has been one of my favourite authors. I feel, he is more of a storyteller than an author. Although, all the stories are engaging, I liked “The black dog” more than others.

There was a reason he’d trusted that voice, a reason why he’d done what it had said. He’d do whatever this man commanded.

This book is so slow that I had to suppress the urge to look at the plot (full of spoilers ) more than 5 times… Plus I hate Vin( apparently she’s the protagonist!)…🙄😑

Urghhh.. i can’t remember a few(actually so many)things.. need to restart 😭
