Maleeka writes little stories about Akeelma,a little african american girl,in a villagae or Maleeka's alter ego. When miss Saunders makes char really mad,char plots to mess up miss Saunders classroom and she includes Maleeka.She sets the room on fire and leaves Maleeka to take the blame. When she knows it's not right,,her and miss Saunders become friends and she confesses about who did it and char gets expelled.

Maleeka Madison is a poor African American girl who gets teased because of her dark skin and poor clothes,she has to make deals with the most popular girl char so she could stick up for her. When a new teacher, miss Saunders,has a blotch on her face which is a birthmark,Maleeka is somehow intrigued. There is a boy named Caleb that she has a crush on.

Melinda turns to art.She meets a boy David petrakis that she has a crush on but too afraid to admit it. We find out that she was raped by a guy in middle school. After Katniss has left the square,she knows that the old man and somebody else has been executed,and now she is really scared that every district she will go too,somebody will be killed because of her.She tells Peeta that she really wants to make a fresh start but she knows she can't because of president snow.

After Peet and Katniss finish giving their speech to District 11 and Katniss sees Rue's family and she feels bad,so she acknowledged how she knew Rue and how she helped.After an old man in the district does Rue's whistle call,he is killed after Katniss and Peeta are done,and when Katniss gets back to the train,she hears two more gunshots.

President snow knows that Gale kissed Katniss.

President snow thinks that Katniss is with Gale and they are having a romance,Katniss thinks to herself that they might have been watching her when Gale kissed her.So now she is afraid that the district will find out that she is not in love with Peeta and it was all a conspieracy to get out of the Games.

President Snow istalking to Karniss about how bad the hinger games ended.Snow thinks that katniss and peeta were technicaly cheating and it might create a ruckus.

Katniss has to get ready for tour day so she has to wake up Haymitch,but he is still drunk so she and Peeta get ready .

Katniss is outside and is going through the forest.Her mother and her sister are living in a place called Victor village.She goes to Gale's house while he is at work.She talks to his mother and says after the tours are done,she will take Gale's brother to teach him to shoot.

When Mr.Neck talks about immigration,David,Melinda's classmate,speaks up and disagrees with Mr.Neck's view on immigration.When Thanksgiving came,it became disastrous because Melinda's parents got into a fight.Melinda helps Heather with the Martha's and Heather got a modeling job in a department store.

Melissa has finally found a friend and her name is Heather.Heather wants to join a club in school but Melissa just can't fit in with anybody.Melissa instead wants a fake friend as an accessory for herself to look good.Heather has found a group to be in,The Marthas.

When the gang gets to New York,they stay in Central Park over the night.When they wake up,there are suspicious people all around.They quickly run away safely to the train.They go through the tunnel.Max constantly has a re occuring headache and it told her to go to the tunnels.The gang finds a safe haven there.

Jeb tells Max that she needs to save the world.Since the whole gang was captured,Angel and Max are kind of reunited.Max gets Angel and the whole gang escapes the school.They escape to New York because a voice in Max' head tells her too,hopefully the Erasers don't find her and the gang there.

Ella's mother accepts Max for who she is and doesn't judge her.Since the mom is a vet she fixed Max' hurt wing.Max stays in Ella's house for a little while the others like Nudge and fang are at the mountain waiting for Max.Nudge wants to look for her parents that gave her up when she was born.While looking,she and Fang encounter Erasers,as do The others at home.Max gets an x ray by Ella's mom.She has a microchip in.
