After Katniss has left the square,she knows that the old man and somebody else has been executed,and now she is really scared that every district she will go too,somebody will be killed because of her.She tells Peeta that she really wants to make a fresh start but she knows she can't because of president snow.

After Peet and Katniss finish giving their speech to District 11 and Katniss sees Rue's family and she feels bad,so she acknowledged how she knew Rue and how she helped.After an old man in the district does Rue's whistle call,he is killed after Katniss and Peeta are done,and when Katniss gets back to the train,she hears two more gunshots.

President snow knows that Gale kissed Katniss.

President snow thinks that Katniss is with Gale and they are having a romance,Katniss thinks to herself that they might have been watching her when Gale kissed her.So now she is afraid that the district will find out that she is not in love with Peeta and it was all a conspieracy to get out of the Games.

Katniss has to get ready for tour day so she has to wake up Haymitch,but he is still drunk so she and Peeta get ready .
