I'm more invested in the friend group than the main couple, but this is written so wittingly and slightly chaotic, I love it! Also, this is a great example for including a non-binary character without feeling the need to make their entire purpose that they are non-binary. Hooray!

I love their banter, but something is missing for me (so far). Hmmm.

This book is gonna make me a strong contender for the gold medal in the category "suspension of disbelief" with some of the build-up and that squirrel hopping out of the tree.

I'm resorting to listening to chapters I'm less interested in via audiobook. Not that I suddenly enjoy them, but it helps me getting through them 😬

Flashback to me, about 40 pages ago, when I thought "I'm so bored of the fact that nothing in these books really gets me to be surprised anymore" only to be completely gobsmacked mere minutes later 😂🥲
