I just started it today. So far, it's intriguing and extremely well written!

It's an extremely clever premise: A race to the top floor of a hotel, but with a catch. So far it's amazing. I love Jesse's descriptions of the things the two protagonists encounter to this point, and I'm sure I'll love everything else in this book. I can't wait to see what happens next!

I started reading after our power went out last night. Let's just say I had to force myself to put it down so I could sleep for a few hours!

I want to take Charlene's head and ram it through a cement wall. Good grief, talk about nerve! *grr!*

Finished rereading BLESSED by Maggie Blackbird, that way I remember more from it for when I read REDEEMED.

Holy cow, this is one heck of a good book! Terrifying too!

Yikes! Poor Rose! That poor woman is going through hell and her journey has only started.

Just read the intro this morning. I hope to sneak in more reading time later today.

Curtis Cooper can spin a great tale. I'm hooked! I still have a way to go, but I love what I've read so far.

I'm literally forcing myself to read it now. There is too much detail in it, like how Anna is always dressing, and lots of descriptions about wine and food. Raphel feels flat. All Anna and Andrew have done is either argue or skirt around the real issues. Where was the editor? It feels like there wasn't even a beta reader for this one. It's not going anywhere at this point. Lots of passive areas and repetition!

So far, not bad, although this story starts out really slow. There's also a lot of descriptions I'm starting to skim over or skip entirely, it's a bit too much in spots. I like Anna, although I'm not fond of her father at this point.

So far, I'm enjoying it. Cory is an interesting and lovely character, and I really like Beryl. Hopefully it won't take me too long to read this one, I don't want to put it down now!

So far, so good. Sansa Rayne is an amazing storyteller. I've been a fan of hers since I got a copy of her book "Erased" a while back. Her characters are believable, and her stories are always filled with twists that no one is expecting. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of it!

I'm not liking Jake too much because of the way he is with Avery. What a jerk!

Frannie's diary entries are driving me insane. I want to skip over them, but I can't for fear I'll miss something. Ugh!!! :(

Getting there. Mother Abigail's story was an information dump that was too much. Repetitive parts galore. Frannie's diary entries are annoying me.

The long descriptions are getting to me by times, but otherwise, I'm really enjoying it. I hope to finish it next weekend at the latest.

I love the made for TV miniseries, but never got around to reading the actual book until now. I love it so far, it's so typical of one of the greats of horror.
