Kiddo was excited to hear about magic wands and dragons.

Kiddo yelled "YES" upon learning Harry did in fact have magic.

Reading aloud to my almost 6 year old at bedtime. He's loving the magic already and had the SWEETEST reaction to learning about how Harry is mistreated by the Dursley with a frown and a very indignant "they're not very nice!"

I like the writing so far.

Owien ships the mains, I love it.

The house is my favorite character.

Only Sarah would call a book with a subplot about a murderer "cozy" but also, she is not wrong. XD

Good prose again and I love the magical house; it's a little trouble maker!

So far, this is the light and breezy read I was looking for. Let's see if it sticks with the entertainment value.

Admittedly skipped certain parts that do not apply to me such as the "How Do I Know I'm Pregnant" chapter. Kind already did all that lol

The dog can talk. This is already off to a great start.

Most of the time, books are adapted into TV shows and this is the reverse. Weird experience as a reader but this author does write well so far.

Knowing King's background as I do, I'm not shocked he wrote Jack's alcoholism so well. But even so, this is one of the best portrayal's of the disease I've ever seen in fiction.

Bourne is nailing the England v. France rivalry bit here. Not sure about the rest of the story so far though.

God Knightley has wit worthy of Jane Austen. Also I LOVE her world building.

Really enjoying this so far.

Not certain of the modern style of writing for a biography but I am learning new info about one of my favorite historical figures.
