I was this 🤏🏻 close to fainting from that scene 🤢.

The library edition I have is the one with the dragon, but goodreads has the wrong page count which annoys me a lot.

First impression from the 40 pages: I like the writing and the short chapters (but not too short). However, I've already had enough of the word "plant" used in THAT context.

I am enjoying this even more now that the book reassured me that that part wasn't a mistake. I love mixed media books, need more of them in my life.

I'm bored, and the only reason I am not DNF'ing is because the only other book I have ever DNF'ed is 50 shades of grey. Kind of unfair to this book.

I like the setting but I couldn't care less about the boring murder mystery.

He has cat allergies and she is a cat owner. I will be surprised if they end up together. It's such a classic secondary romantic lead cliche lol.

A Year In January: A banished fae (?) and a woman with bipolar disorder (I think?) become roommates. A weird but interesting one 3.5⭐

Chaos Theory: Too long for a short story in my opinion, but I ended up enjoying it! 4.5 ⭐?

Sensual Tales for Carnal Pleasures: I have read this before in Fairytales of the Macabre, and I remember it to be my least favourite story. I'm still not the biggest fan, so 3.5 ⭐.

Sous Vide: confused about what happened at the end. 2.5-3 ⭐

I'm really disliking the audiobook. The narrator (also the author) is making the already dramatic prose seem overdramatic.

Fates and Consequences: I'd read this before. A guy, named Guy, dues prematurely and ends up in the Underworld, which us ruled by Hades. It was fun. 4-4.5 ⭐.

How to Dispel Friends and Curse People: Despite being written in my most hated format (*shudders* in verse *shudders*), I quite enjoyed it. 4 ⭐

Monsterlove: about motherhood, mental illness and postpartum depression. At first it was off-putting (the writing style was basically verbal diarrhoea) BUT by the end it kinda got me. 3.5 ⭐
