I am reading this because it's on KU and I wanted something simple and cute and this so far delivers that. I do not have to think too hard while reading this.

The book is okay. Nothing Earth shattering but at least it's not cringe.

At this point it's not looking good at all. I do not like the world building or the writing style. Wren's inner voice sounds so silly and juvenile. And the name Cross Redden? Argh!!!!

I am thinking of DNF-ing.

The prologue intrigued me, then the first chapter introduced so many characters and magic types that I was a bit overwhelmed. I like Erik but I am not sure about Livia yet. I hope this lives up to my expectations although I do not hold my breath.

I am thinking of DNFning this one. It's the worst of the bunch.

Cute and angsty

This book is a bit of a ridiculous side fight now. It's a struggle to stay interested at this stage.

It's okayish read so far.

It seems Goodreads is glitching. When I try to open a book page it shows 43 Forbidden on the page. Does anyone else have this issue? I can't update on what I have been reading right since yesterday. *sigh*

The story is unlike what I thought it would be considering the blurb. It's actually better. I think I like how this author writes and uses their words.

The writing is good but the story is dragging a bit for me. I will come back to it soon.

Starting a reread in preparation for the last book. I can't wait! Goosebumps!!!

I really like Penelope. Her wit and her humor are amazing. I do not know about Colin yet. My opinion is a bit muddled due to the show and the actors who play these fictional characters. I hope to like it.

Cute and repetitive with nothing really going on. I like the world and some side characters.

I started this yesterday. New to me author. I do not really like it. The author takes too much with the so called funny banter. It's boring. I think I will DNF tonight.

This book is not light reading. I have to be in the mood. For now that mood is not here. I hope to finish it before the New Year.

Nice palate cleanser

Slim on romance, thick on lust. Plot is meh. Secondary characters are caricatures. Maybe this author is not for me. I will try a couple more chapters.
