Friends to lovers might be one of the most difficult tropes to write. There are very few good friends to lovers romances and this is definitely not one of them

There’s nothing particularly wrong with this book, but it just feels … lazy. God forbid if I’d like to read a romance book in which the main characters aren’t already in love from page 1
