The upside to book 1 being 60% world building is this book just picks up and goes from where we left off.

I’ve finished Shamrocked and rn this is actually my least favorite Joely Sue Burkheart series.
3 stars for book one.

Now things are cooking! Who the first 30% of this is so much world building and so much info it was so hard to make it through.
HOWEVER once that ball starts rolling things get goooood!

I am determined to get further this time.
Adolin is so precious and I enjoy his pov.

I am loving this so much.
I have a long work day ahead and won’t get to read much, but I’m off this weekend and play to CONSUME this.

Woooo I just got my ARC I am so ready to dive into this story!

I am seriously enjoying this book. These characters all break my heart - but like in a good way.
Also POV from a demisexual character, makes me so happy.

I’m still feeling mildly lost. That doesn’t mean I haven’t been enjoying myself. I’ve only been able to read chunks at a time rather than just in gale it all at once.
How do I sign up for a death kitty? Because I wanna scratch his lil head. - I’ve always been the person that people go oh wow ‘insert pet here’ never likes anyone.

So I finally got around to scanning one info my bookshelves full of books… 😅

Things I’ve learned: I don’t know enough about mushrooms or butterflies/moths.
