If you are re-reading a book (in this case an autobiography) and there is a portion that is very uncomfortable to read (that you have read before), say 25-30%% and you choose to skip it, would you still consider the book finished when you were done with it, or unfinished since you decided not to read a significant chunk of it?

Not really feeling it. It's full of great stories so far but not really what I am looking for, I will come back to it later and give it a shot.

Dragging this month on reading. I started off with Five Families: Rise, Decline, and Resurgence of the Mafia. Huge mistake, the author has done great research and apparently also wanted to win an award for most overly wordy book every. Each historical event is told in depth from 5 or more perspectives, even if it is just rewriting the same info over and over.

Does anyone ever judge themselves based on what they read? I see the feed of what my friends on here read and look at my own and feel ashamed. Everyone reads these classic novels and here I am reading dime store Sci-Fi.

Not the best 40K novel I have read, but a very interesting look into the Adeptus Arbites so far, a solid book to read a chapter at a time.
