I needed this lighthearted read after the last few heavy ones. Loving the humor despite Miriam's hypocrisy xD

The whole book was depressing though thought-provoking. But the abrupt perspective changes in the last few pages are feeling so disruptive. Each portion adds so little to the story each time, it feels like nothing is happening.....

The gossipy vibe is getting to me...

Just started by chapter 1 probably should have been a prologue unless it's a multi-perspective story

Why is everyone acting so surprised that Rikki and Glam did that? If anything, this should have been planned by the entire village and carried out strategically.

The next thing we know, his only living son Rikki and many others die. So why does Astrid still have to marry her brother's killer?

Mygawd. This became Romeo and Juliet, only worse. I'm thiiiiiiiiis close to dropping it.

The little detail about Barver suffering from the small steps and making up paper shows was such a nice addition!!

I love this book's storytelling style so much! The plans going haywire and our teen MCs prioritizing their own friends and safety and leaving the big bad villain for the adults is a sight for my sore eyes <3
