honestly cannot keep reading this because of the amount of times he says seamen

unfortunately 32 is not mature enough to not laugh every time the audiobook says seamen

i think reading this in 2026 has been painful in ways i could not have imagined in 2016. i have read such accurate descriptions of my current world that i think this might be the greatest book ever written. i think roll over 1984

so far my only note is that i wish they’d point out that by giving the vote to Black people in the US, they mean Black men. guy keeps saying “Blacks” which feels a little weird but also just isn’t accurate

so close to finished why is it taking so long

sadly a bit too dense for an audiobook, this is one for highlighting and tabs
