I'm growing tired of how long the MC is throwing himself a pity party, and just how badly he and the rest of the Winterfolk are treating the fmc

Again, while I recognize this is her journey and how she lays it out as interesting and personal, in chapter 4, she's falling into describing choices in a very binary way - choices are either good or bad, friends only exist in two ways (they either do this or this)...it's a bit limited.

Interesting to hear her story, but also a heads up for anyone who is plus-sized or dealing with eating disorders, she shames herself a bunch around potentially having to shop in a plus sized section for clothing or eating too much sugar, and this being one of several catalysts for her journey.
