Oddly enjoyable. Especially coming off of The Testament last book (don’t even bother reading that one!). So far this book is strange and fun at the same time, giving me a couple legit chuckles:

I think I’m going to press pause on this for a bit, if not DNF entirely. I’m a little turned off that it is so far off from the show’s storyline. It’s confusing and has even turned me off to watching the series for it. Yes, it’s easy read. Yes, if I wasnt familiar with the entire HMT series then I’d probably be OK with it. Unfortunately, I am the opposite and well invested in the show. 😫🙄

Having a hard time wrapping my head around this one, after seeing Handmaids. This is too confusing in a sense. If you have watched the show then you know what I’m talking about…I haven’t even started watching testaments tv series yet…

Finally on the last book (even though it’s #2 by publication date). Will this be the end to our Owens family stories? I highly recommend reading NOT in publication order but by the recommended chronological order.

I can’t put it down! I don’t know why because nothing is happening but yet so much is. Is it because we the readers can relate to these “coming of age” relationship situations? Are we holding on to read of some cataclysmic twist? Doubtful that would happen. I am just enjoying the ride with no expectations. Note to self; communication/decade of settings and how it plays into lack of comm/ early Sam

Super light, cute and fun read so far. Enjoying the writing style and the plot! Great read for reality tv fans. Audiobook is equally as enjoyable. The narration is easy on the ears.

The fact that the audio book is different than the book has annoyed the hell out of me. So much so that’s I’m having a hard time getting into this book…so much for immersive reading 😫

This is my second Fern Michaels book and now I am certain why she was and still is such a popular author. I just love her writing style. This book has had be giggling the whole time, and the plot itself is eerily relatable. It’s one of those things that just makes sense, sort of like Dexter. One sitting and I’m almost done thanks to my immersive read with the audiobook.

This is so relatable!!! It’s also so funny (well, the delivery from the narrator in the audiobook). The fact that the author, Julie T. Kinn, is a clinical psychologist makes this read even more accurate in a funny not funny way. I’m thoroughly enjoying it.
