While 35% doesn’t seem like a lot, it’s the equivalent of an average beach read. Babel had me for a good minute, then I got tired of the lectures. I get it, Kuang, you’re a genius. I do not think I will read her other books that are on my TBR if they are anything like this because to be, it was all “filler” I’ve come to find out has no weight on the actual story. Kuang just isn’t my cup of tea.
