DNF - something is not clicking here, which is surprising because I normally enjoy this author. Too much dialogue I do not care about and also tying in with the other books which annoys me. Don’t remember that happening in the other book in this series I’ve read though?

I don’t know if the promise of docking is enough for this one folks. I like Fisher’s desire for independence and figuring out his life and how to live in his small town dependent on tourism, but I don’t feel like Hudson has any personality besides feeling too old for Fisher and just Bad At Relationships so how can he want Fisher

DNF i can’t take these boys seriously lol

I randomly picked this up off the KU suggested reads and I am crying real, actual tears from this.

DNF - I don’t know what happened here. I really enjoyed the previous book in the series but there seems to be a downgrade here. The language is really clunky and sometimes confusing, in a way I really don’t remember from other books by this author. Though I’m beginning to wonder if the one book I’ve finished by Hall was a fluke.

DNF - this is not standalone at all 😂

DNF - I prefer bi awakening taking a little bit longer, Camden feeling romantic feelings towards Shelby immediately during their wedding is not enough build up for me. Cute tropey set up though.

I am so close to DNFing this 🥴 still waiting for the actual pretending to be engaged at the wedding to happen but some of the dialogue obviously set up to educate / make a point about real life issues to readers or something is too cringe for me

I love pining combined with the pinee being honest and upfront about their feelings from the beginning 🥹

I feel like we’ve been thrown into what should be at least 20/30% of the story. I prefer some pining / feelings realizations for friends to lovers w/ sexuality awakenings

I love the reconnecting teenage internet friends angle but I just don’t feel compelled to finish this

Enjoying this so far! The dynamic between Audric and Syren is not totally what I expected and it’s nice! I love how Syren likes to tease Audric and we are heading towards some nice mutual pining I think

I am a sucker for gay / bi awakening, but Mitch’s thought process up until this point leans a bit too much gay for you for me. maybe he’ll clear things up by the end, but a lot of the conflict just feels repetitive. I enjoyed a different book in this series more so I’ll still give the others that sound good to me a chance
