And if the book is basically The Purge meets Running Man (the movie): I'll be fundamentally pissed!

Useless if you read Assassins 1 as it is the same setup in a different environment.

Not a new book but actually #21. And it's good, interesting, clever. Not as psycho as the latest ones where he just goes around and kills everyone. Enjoying it so far.

God it's good! Finally found an excellent Sci-fi author.

Second book by Scalzi after the Moon book. And same 'problem', a good setting does not necessarily make a good story. There is a kind-of story here but I don't know how if could end. So it is more a never-ending storyline.
Still fun to read though, the idea is great.

Annoying, boring and does not make a point. Someone tries to beat Stephen King in long descriptions for the sake of long descriptions. Now the killing starts and maybe it gets better but I don't have high hopes. I'll try to get to 25%

Good until 20% in. Interesting, something else entirely. Then it loses focus, from 50% onwards I just skim the pages for something interesting and readable. I'll finish, estimate a 2 star rating.
