This book is going to frustrate me. I just know it.

I’m enjoying this a lot, however, do find the writing quite dense and it is taking me a lot longer to read than other books.

I want it on record that I really tried...I just could not.

Book 1 had fantastic world-building, an exciting plot, and a toxic relationship I hoped would not carry on. So far Griffin: Goes into a rage, trashes a room with Cat in it, manhandles and hurts her, tells her he 'can't be with her', flips out when he can't find her, takes 2 days to check the most obvious place, blames her for leaving with all the 'you should not have left' crap, and tries to guilt Cat into marriage

The first book in this trilogy had amazing world building, an interesting plot, and one hell of a toxic relationship.

Slow going so far. Hopeful it will pick up...

This book is not my cup of tea!
I hope it gets better, but don't really see that happening.

So I just hit chapter 12 and honestly, this book is driving me insane. Crystal is such a self-obsessed main character. There have been two instances either on the phone or texting her boyfriend where all she wants to talk about are her issues with sage and so far one other case where he spends all their time reassuring her in person. Also, this book should have a trigger warning regarding some of the topics covered!!

I told myself I wouldn’t read this until November....that obviously didn’t happen 😉 I’m weak, so very weak! I love the story so far, Karen finally seems to be paying a little for what he did, and Lia is proving once again that she is brave, smart, and capable. Also I am loving Rafe more and more! Well, back to reading 💙

Thoughts: Kimber!! My fave! Poor Finn, Keane should be smarter than this, Dana is honestly the most annoying person I have ever read about - She is as bad as Bella in New Moon!! - Ethan didn't show up in the last two chapters, that was a relief.

I came so close to DNFing. Honestly, I don't think I can get through this.

The cover is remarkably pretty though!

So, the Wild Hunt - COOL! I actually started to believe that this story was picking up. And then Dana reverted back to a spoiled, bratty, immature nightmare and I need to take another break. One Chapter per day. I can handle one chapter per day.

First Thought - I am so scared going into this book. Shiver ended in a way that I would be happy enough if it were a stand-alone book. I'm just scared this won't compare, or the characters will be ruined.
Second Thought - The text is green. It's GREEN! I went and compared the first book to another book to check the writing, and it is DIFFERENT. How did I not notice that? This is so cool!

I don't really feel connected to any of the characters. Usually, I tend to have problems with the main characters but adore most of the side characters. However, I just don't really like any of them...at all. I wanted to like this...so I will stick it out till the end.

It's just taking a lot to get into, so I hope it picks up soon.

"I needed Chase, and I wanted to be near him, and some part of me couldn't shake the feeling that it was mutual, and that I would be the one to save him from himself" - I need a break from this tbh. I somehow managed to power through horrible decision after horrible decision that Bryn makes to be met with this....OMG
