I was hoping for something with similar vibes to Phantom of the opera or I feed her to beast and the best is me. But this story is very flat. Plot? Flat. Characters? Flat. Atmosphere? Flat. I guess it had potential but this execution of it is awfully disappointing

I’m enjoying this a lot more than Heated Rivalry. This book at least has had plot and relationship development so far, can’t say that for that (build up to and) sex scene marathon the Heated Rivalry was.

This book gives me similar vibes to Divine Rivals with a war raging in the background and the world building with the saints and stuff. The beginning is super slow. While I like the setting of Hiraeth Manor now, I can’t read more than one chapter per night bc it’s putting me to sleep

It’s a shame these worms have control over him. Otherwise, I mean this worm pile is literally in a gas station, dumping gasoline in the worm room and lighting it up would solve a few of his problems. That being said I think the worm underutilized, you could switch it a human sect and it wouldn’t change much
