لم يبعث الله الحلاج لهداية الآخذين بظواهر الأمور وأساميها، إنما بعثه لمن علا مقامه و أوغل فى الروح وتداركها، لمن خاض فى التجريد حتى بلغ أقصاه فعلم بقصوره فتسامى عنه، لمن فقد روحة فمات ثم أحيا ثم يموت ثانية، لمن يعقل وقع الكلمة، ويعرف ما هو الجمال، لمن أستفاق فرأى النور وسار وسط جحافل العميان لا حليف له سوى الله. سلاماً على الولى المحب الشهيد نقى الروح
