There continue to be moments that like bug me. but it also feels like.. how many bad things can happen in a book? I have a feeling I'm going to get to the end of this series in a few months and go "Yeah, that could have been 2 books"

Okay, stuff is happening

There was just a lore dump that SHOULD have made me feel really bad, like tearing up. But it just felt so fucking flat.. grr

The amount of detail in this book... Like.. it's so in the weeds with the pop/movie star. I keep thinking "why do I need to know this?"

Pre: This ARC is due in January and I've dragged my feet to it. I know its a 3 part series and there is supposed to be an HEA at the 3rd... we will see if I like this

Started Poetry on ice and while I think I will like it. I saw these ones were like under 300 pages and since I have a buttload of driving saturday (whoooooo 14 hours!) I need something I can like kind of be i nthe middle of? Also. I NEED that emotion hit the N Slater gave me in woodland appeal.

This book was brought to my attention from a fb group and someone posted a review saying they were an emotional wreck and it was heartbreaking. So far it's a bit sad but like.. 'normal' sad? I gunno. I'm reading it fast but damn I think this isn't going to hit the mark either.
