The pacing of this book feels a lot like sitting in very weird traffic. It inches forwards at an agonizing pace until it suddenly takes off at 90 mph. And then you get whiplash slamming the brakes back on ten minutes later. Despite this, I am still enjoying this “whacky dnd party” group of characters immensely.

I was a little bored, this book has THE slowest start, but then… LARGE!!! FRANCIS!!!! BUILDING!!!!!

I’m enjoying this so far! HOWEVER, if one more book advertises itself as “Murderbot with [insert thing that is absolutely not even slightly Murderbot-adjacent]!” I am going to start throwing punches. This is not Murderbot. This is not trying to be Murderbot. Stop it.
