Quite fun to listen to on the side, but god the Mr Fix guy really just gets weirder and weirder ideas and treats them as facts and ugh it just makes me think of incompetent police people nowadays and kinda takes away a bit from my enjoyment

-nach 140 Seiten wird der joke mit (hier beliebigen Männername einfügen) n bisschen anstrengend
-habe das Gefühl, dass manche Kapitel etwas flach sind vom Inhalt und der Recherche her. Mehr background hätte da gerne gedurft
-ich merke wieder, wieviel an mir als Kind vorbeigegangen ist und auch jetzt noch vorbeigeht. Wenig Popkultur und Social Media lohnen sich lol

Love how that girl is like “let’s keep our spells secret” and then goes immediately to “let’s charm the ONE dry fountain in the middle of the effing village!”

Loving the story, but Not a Fan of the narrator, honestly she’s sometimes a lil grating, not not that bad that I wanna stop

Not quite convinced, but too invested in the plot. I just regularly feel like there should’ve been another way to do things for the characters. Well, we’ll see how it goes

Love how stupid some people are. Like, wow Crazy, that enemies with Wings might, ya know, attack from the air. Shocker!

Also Great whenever someone is like „I serve life (not death)“ and Dienst wanna actively kill anyone
But also like, sacrifices people upon people for their goal

The book was like „ X% of Women change their routes/plans to avoid certain areas/bus lines etc when out alone at night” and I was just like
Yeah? No shit?
And now Im like oooops, yeah, it shouldn’t be that way
But it’s so normalised, it didn’t even feel like a negative thing at first. Just like a fact of life

Crazy how much nicer the writing flows in this book compared to the series I read before. Very lovely, evocative descriptions without being too on the nose or too much & no unnecessary repetitions!
