The references to Twilight has me giggling and kicking my feet.

The horrors persist! SJM you evil horrible woman WHY!?

I cannot bear this! I’m so fucking scared right now.

I’ve had to pause several times already to scream. Holy shit I’m dying, I was not expecting this!!!

Every detail in the Maasverse is connected and it’s hurting my brain. How does she do this?

Omg. The way I just GASPED.

The banter is the book is top tier. Quickly became obsessed and knew very early on this was going to be a 5star read.

lmao wtf is going on!?!?

Yo wtf was that lmao…

Lmao the banter is unhinged and I’m dying.

I’m dying this is so fucking funny!

Okay this is actually hilarious and did not expect to be dying over the phrase “gaping asshole”.

I’m so bored I have to DNF.

So far, I’m bored. I really dislike when they introduce a million characters from the beginning and play musical chairs with the POV. Feeling like a DNF but going to try to make it to 40% before making the call.

This book is already fucking me up and I’m at 4%. Screaming. This is going to be so brutal, I don’t think my poor heart can handle this.

I love when I can guess the plot twist. I am betting everything on this one and it’s going to be so chaotic if it comes to fruition.

I forgot how god tiered this book was. I am cursing myself for even questioning a re-read.

I’ve seen a lot of reviews regarding the “purple prose” or “flowery” writing and it being a hindrance to the story. But I think that’s what makes this so emotional and moving. It hooked me immediately and I became deeply invested in the FMC from the start.

Within the first few pages, I’m quickly reminded on why this book is a 5 star read for me. So happy I decided to do a re-read before Ballad. I’m eating this up (again!).

I have to say, the FMC’s nickname is by far the worst I’ve ever read. Seriously so cringey. Maybe that’s the point?

Every time I read an AH book I think, “I love this beautiful woman”. Ugh I love how she writes, she could write about literally anything and I will devour it.

GIRL. Omg. I’m actually screaming.

Huge audible gasp. This plot twist has me fucked up. And to think I wasn’t going to continue this series!

This FMC has cried every chapter and it’s becoming insufferable. When does she get mad and make others cry??

I forgot how campy/fun/ridiculous this book is and am eating this up.

Normally, I’m not a big fan of the multi POV/multiple MCs because I feel like it takes away from the plot and character development. But this is so good. With each chapter and POV change, I’m desperate to know more about each character.

One of my peeves about listening to audiobooks while reading is when the voice actor reads a line that has been edited or removed that doesn’t read the same in the book…and this book has sooooo many! Almost every page there is either a word or entire line said that isn’t written in the book and it’s like tripping over a rock while walking every time it happens.
