Juliette’s Reviews > When the Moon Hatched > Status Update

I’ve seen a lot of reviews regarding the “purple prose” or “flowery” writing and it being a hindrance to the story. But I think that’s what makes this so emotional and moving. It hooked me immediately and I became deeply invested in the FMC from the start.

Within the first few pages, I’m quickly reminded on why this book is a 5 star read for me. So happy I decided to do a re-read before Ballad. I’m eating this up (again!).

I love a violent blood thirsty FMC.
