my favorite thing about emily henry books are they make me feel things, but said things feel extremely elusive. the feelings feel real in my heart but not in my head. as in i’m never not aware that i’m an audience looking into a world and characters that are not real. how interesting.

looks like my kindle's dictionary is going to work overtime with this book because why does the mmc speak like he reads the thesaurus for breakfast...? it's certainly a choice
