On my way back to my house from the lab I passed someone in a hammock reading this book and momentarily panicked that it was my copy that they had stolen. Cuz like how often does that happen?!? Where you pass someone who's purely coincidentally reading the same book that you are. I think this might be the first time that's ever happened to me so I have to document it.

Also (ran out of room on last update) I’m reminded of one of the reasons why I love books so much bc of how much they change me as a person bc I just started this book and there’s already been multiple parts that make me think of both never let me go and between the world and me (last two books I read) despite all three books being vastly different. I love holding onto parts of the books I read wherever I go:)

Reading this book for the first time as an adult, and also ten years after the first time I read it, is such an incredible experience. This book and story has changed so much for me since then. It’s such a neat feeling.

Such an enlightening and agreeable read! I’m having to resist underlining too many sentences. Feels like I’m currently living in a world that is the consequence of the things this book warns about. Scary.

This was a mistake. I shouldn’t have jumped into another book so soon. I needed more time to grieve. They keep making vague references to Tessa will and Jem in this book and even bringing up Tessa at one point and my poor heart just can’t take it. I’m so serious when I say I never want to read another book that doesn’t have will and jem and Tessa in it ever again.

Why does everyone in this book call out peoples names in their sleep? What??? People don’t do that in real life! I just needed a place to say this.

There is so much love in my heart for all of these characters. By far the best love triangle I’ve ever read/watched. Maybe even the only one I’ve ever liked/cared about!!!!!!

I don’t even really like these books. But I’m in too deep to stop.
