Complicated as f, but worth it.

Im not convinced yet that this is the last in this series

Very useful. More useful than Power of Habit, so far.

If I actually paid attention to this book in high school, I would have learned a lot. Highly intense scene involved—if you need trigger warnings, here it is: rape trigger warning. I could have used a warning. The way she writes makes me feel the little joys in life. She says important stuff without directly saying it. And her food descriptions make me so hungry.

Surprisingly interesting.

Started this all over again on 2/20/2021. Time to read the physical book with a highlighter.

I have to read this with my eyeballs instead of my earballs because she is going to fast when she reads. I’ve restarted reading it in paper form with a highlighter and pen in hand.

This has taken me awhile. I think it was about 45% of the way through the book that all 3 kids end up in the garden. Felt slow to me, so I super put off reading it. Still haven’t finished.

I had to return the audiobook to the library 3 days ago. But so far, it’s very politically factual. Look, I like Obama, but he self admittedly can drone on forever. Also was slightly annoyed with it sounding like a “I couldn’t clarify my position then, so here it is now.” I tend to not like complainy books, and this felt complainy. Becoming is far better, IMHO.

1 hr into the 3 hour audio book. Too much good stuff to pay attention to, but it is going too fast for me to fully digest. I think I’m going back to have to try the book version with a highlighter.

So far, it’s making me re evaluate my habits. It was not my intent, but it seems the simplest changes can have profound effects, so I’m starting to think about it. I feel like I’d need to relisten to this once a year.

well, aparently this book is about depression so here i go

hard to get into for a Pratchett

This book is insane. Battle strategies are so crazy and unreal. Clever techniques from main character, but there is a lot less of him in this one, whom I generally enjoy the most.

started reading this for real a few days ago. took some remembering but still pretty great series .

Finished the second book. I loved this a lot more than book 1. The fantasy and multiworld building is amazing. The relationship between Lyra and the new character becomes so intense so quick. On to the next book!

Finished first book. Pretty interesting. Lyra is a pretty cool character. Loved the bears.

Starting to get addictive at this point

Guess I’m starting the next book.

Good job making me want to read book 2 right at the end of book 1. I wanna know what this is about:

bought the book as soon as i finished reading the sample. has settled as my currentg book

pretty disinterested at this point. regret purchase.

i just wish i didnt buy the physical version because i prefer a digital version to refer to. i wantg read the rest
