Sometimes you just need something light and fun

Say what you will about The Selection but there's no denying it's the perfect comfort read.

This is technically my required reading for a class this year but it's lowkey a banger so it's going toward the reading challenge.

I have felt many emotions as a lifelong reader but I don't think I've ever been on the verge of tears of *happiness* while reading. This is extraordinary.

I don't know why but this line hurts so much knowing what's going to happen.

Love Hamilton the musical and I love the history of Hamilton but I am already so disappointed by this

this is one of those books in which nothing happens but it still manages to be interesting

writing is so pretty but i honestly am so confused and i don't know if it's actually confusing or if i'm just dumb lol

so far the biggest difference between Hooky's memoir and this is that Hooky couldn't afford to fix his car and Stephen has bought two cars, a computer, and several synthesizers and it's been sixty pages

How did I not notice until this time -- the third time I'm reading this book -- how lovely the writing is?

I'm way past where this happened, but I still can't get over the fact that Hamilton wrote anonymous essays and then other anonymous essays praising his first ones.
