…. The excessive description is wearing me down somewhat. It’s not adding to the story, or the pace, all it is doing is frustrating the reader. I love an adjective, an adverb and a fronted adverbial phrase, but even a literary nerd 🤓 like me has her limits. Read on…. Slowly? Carefully? Mercifully? Dangerously? Insidiously? ..:: catch my drift 🤣

What a book! Sophisticated ideas in a thrilling tale across Prague. Love the opposing ideologies of religion vs science, especially in neuroscience which completely fascinates me. Read on!

Oh how I have missed reading good books! I love the historical Easter eggs riddled throughout the book and the talk of a higher human consciousness. The talk of the brain, nueroplasticity and the ethical conundrums of consciousness makes this one hell of a story. Read on!

JK Rowling can write… such an intricately woven plot, spilling over with conspiracy, drama and excitement at the turn of every page. Strike and Ellacott have become some of my favourite characters. Read on!
