How are the ratings so high on this book?

I feel like this is the dumbest FMC I’ve ever read. One bad decision after another.

This is just…not good already.

It says romance….but it’s not here yet. At all. I like the FMC though.

This FMC is exasperating. 81% of the way through and I might DNF.

This is…so utterly predictable thus far. Every trip, every bit of forced yearning. Maybe the last little bit will make all these 4⭐️+ make sense.

I’m pretty sure I’m not the best audience for this book. It’s a hot mess. The most interesting character isn’t a main character. I’m bored. I’m uninterested. And wtf is this magic system. Such high hopes.
