I wish I could keep reading! Particularly because the third chapter finished with a cliffhanger-ish, but I'm due to go grab a friend so we can go swimming at the lake, so I probably shouldn't complain lol

I love how this is written, without a ton of info dump, just a sort of urban-ish fantasy written like a totally normal story.

Also, this: "Silver went off to sleep in Tobias's bed in Tobias's shirt, [...]"

Good Gods. I wish that I could turn back time and give Cal a great big hug, he deserves it with a family like that. His sister is the biggest bitch ever, wow.

Fast paced too. I almost want to say "a bit too much", because sometimes it makes the story feel a bit abrupt, but on the other hand, so many things happen all the time, even if they aren't big things/it's just doing the work in the home, that I'm riveted.

I love all those characters. They're all different with qualities and bad sides, and I really like that the story is very... Organic? The MC isn't focus on finding THE guy, but they live their lives, with the mystery and the rebuilding, so the romance is a slow get together-probably slow burn later. It feels very balanced.

I have less than half an hour of reading left for this book, AND I CAN'T FINISH IT NOW BECAUSE WORK, AAAARGH. Lol. Poor me.

I think that I know where this is going but it's so we'll written, I love all the characters!

I love Callie's voice/how she's written. And oh dear, the spooky visits are nicely creepy.

hum. things are really slowing down. I was invested in the house rebuilding and the snark. Where have they gone? Also, can we not with the Britney Spears snippy remarks, please

These characters are fun and brilliants and I love this!!

I love that the I-love-you-but-I-couldn't-possibly-have-you is kept to a minimum and my heart when three sizes too big when they had their talk in the street and " “How long do you want?”

Love the fact that there's just as much or more intrigue as romance.

Stephen was ogling the Lord's tattoos and I actually bit my lip while reading. I hurt myself, the tattoos and hot back were too much for me ;)

Going to finish that book today. Starting again at 30% to get the story back in mind. Though I remember it fairly well. I ended up catching that scene when her dad calls her crazy and slaps her and oh gods, someone take her away from the drunk asshole and stop her from apologizing to him, seriously!

I seriously love both that lady AND her world and casual mentions of elves and trolls and magic!!! :D 💜

Omg, I love this book. Seriously, the plot is fascinating (I have an idea about what's going on, can't wait to be sure). And I love that there's the whole undertone of "danger" from Anne but they all have each other's back.

Great beginning, I love the ghost hunting trip for amateurs :D

Took me a while to manage to work up a mental map of the geography (even with Google's help, it wasn't so easy), but I really like both the women investigators and how the US lady tries to keep up/not make a misstep, the differences in culture, and the investigation with futuristic modern techniques was fascinating. I have to buy the rest of the book now.

Started back from 50 % something, since it's been so long since I started reading this. I don't know why I let it go, I still love the investigation. (I lie, I know why: I'm not fan of romantic triangles, but this one is resolved quickly enough)
