I'm not really a fan of how the author suddenly switches pov when introducing a new character who knows the protagonist. Everything is written from Theodosia's pov, but meet her aunt for the first time, and suddenly, without warning, you get two/three paragraphs of what the aunt thinks of Theodosia, before switching back to Theodosia's pov without anymore warning... 🤔

Started reading during lunch break. How I hate starting new original series lol, I'm always so lost with all the new characters. I made my electronic post-it note again, with a short list of who's who.
That said, the tea shop and all other tea related descriptions are so lovely. I want to try all those teas now. I also like the protagonist, Theodosia so far. What an interesting name by the way.
