Most of the second chapter was about what makes God plausible as the creator via factors including math equations and science debate. Books like Steven Meyers Return of the God Hypothesis weigh in heavy here. What makes an atheist argument mute based on aspects like creation and its design explained via scientific quantifiable details. I don’t need convincing, but if I did the details within are solid, in my view

Part three is fun. Though the book is designed to support thinking differently, third section has a dialogue. A grandpa and girl. Remind’s me of the show Kung Fu. Zen master and student. Broken into bites connected to the meaning of the manual. How people are indoctrinated using words. Psyops and control. Chase Hughes is a gem. Though the book feels odd at first, am enjoying decoding perception w/ exercises. Fun

Wow … there’s so much to digest. I’ve read a LOT of books. This is vibing like a soon to be favorite. Reading on Saturdays, one chapter at a time, before church. In symbolic homage to being a better steward of rest and revitalization. In preparation for a full year. Plus, gifting a copy today as a surprise to someone who planned to read it. Thinking of offering to start a winter book club of faith based books

While looking for CS Lewis’s The Abolition of Man stumbled upon this gem. It includes, and is thoughtfully divided for easy location, each book included. I can tap and read the book I’m after without guessing where it starts or ends.

Prayer suggestion day 13, “And, now what wait I for?” The OG written style flows like reverent commentary I thoroughly enjoy. This prayer in particular builds comfort within long suffering or enthusiasm of anticipation. Like Heb 11 folk waited as though they receive glory days.
