If you’re younger, under thirty, this might be new info. Though it rehashes old news in a fresh way sometimes there are memorable quotes. Reading following hearing the author speak and on loan from the library in Libby.

Prequel to A Nefarious Plot. Satan is courting a woman who has lived a difficult life. Seducing her with becoming the Anti Christ’s mother willingly.

Though this is the gist of the short story. The unfolding is fascinating and makes one wonder, who will be his mom. Crazy to think the AC could be growing up right now somewhere

Reading this for research toward a story draft I’m writing this month. Began the topic in February inspired by a quote.

Needless to say, the content is wild. Immersing myself in this subject has opened my eyes to information that if everyone was aware might freak out a bit.

The book supports an idea I brought with me, we are building a body for something that already exists.

Fantastic book

Same problem as the first quarter of the book, unnecessary even broader gratuitous 2020’s sexual connotations meant for way in the future timeline of the book. Not like call backs to tv, movies, or gaming. This doesn’t compel the storyline. Came close to a DNF. The story itself is a great addition to the first novel. This other crap vibes unnecessary to the plot or word count for publication. SMH

Paused at chapter 9. To consume something less intense. Just before I was set to finish an assassination occurred. People resembling who the fictitious Nefarious is commanding or itself participant are front and center. As if showing me not just telling. Multiple people reference “Nefarious” as the spirit involved. Probably never having heard of his hells minion manifesto. Weird coincidence but still unnerving

Enjoying this second installment. Referencing shows and games I remember growing up with never gets old. Certain Gen Y, Z, and A will miss if you haven’t become familiar with shows like Belvedere, etc. Though using 2023-4 sexual political references as though they’re in the future reality the story is based in feels gratuitous. Disingenuous. Unnecessary to the story. Four star so far

Whewwww, the chapter tittles “Dead” reminds me of the part of The Road when my son and me were binge listening on a Saturday. We had to turn the book off. Take deep breaths. Have a pause to recuperate from what we just heard. This book will infuriate some people. Make others vomit. Some to DNF. It’s super overwhelming in description. Not fiction with the description. Happens in real life daily in America. Sigh

Inspired by CS Lewis’s The Screwtape Letters. With a wonder twist. Found the book after seeing the movie based on it. If you do not believe in anything or do and have no clue what a demon might be you’re in for a treat of this fictitious true to life concept that, frankly for me, is what I imagine them to be like. Not fake Hollywood types. Way worst. Masked in ways most will brush off or blame. Nail biter

Upon watching the Nefarious learned about this book. Though different in storyline expect a powerful theme. Highly recommend it. If you do not believe in demon possession this film may change your mind. Watching an interview w/ a Roman Catholic priest who does exorcisms said he was surprised the movie was allowed to be made. It reflects cases he dealt with and vibes real life possession traits. Book should be good

Summary isn’t helpful so visited reviews. In short, if you’ve read the comics & know Mr Reeves personal history might understand the book that is said to become a movie. It’s difficult to follow from someone who knows zero of the comics or a lot about Mr Reeves. Oh, and he did not write to contribute. Brainstormed ideas mostly from what I read in reviews. MC cant die but wants to. Story is a challenge to follow

Asked to read and review, finished the book and am currently working on the review. It’s a silly fun thoughtful read by Courtney Ball. Any child and most adults will giggle at and find ways to explore cross curriculum opportunities. Scientific exploration is my favorite. Stay tuned for full review

Listening to a PDF on Speechify. Following along in a book from ‘81. Strangely, it’s missing a paragraph for day 5. Compared to the PDF. My experience with the first four days was so magnificent in regard to ‘waiting’ took a break to recover. Sometimes experiences with God can require extra energy. A pause is needed to rejuvenate. Spiritual life doesn’t need to be plowed through. Is progressive & practiced

Though do not take more have taken BC thought it a worthwhile book to learn results via thoughtful studies and shared experiences. Sometimes reading is not about my interests but learning something new. Ways others are impacted by a topic. And how to be supportive. As this is a widely used product and the results of its consumption are in. This impacts people I know and wanna understand why to be a support, if needed

Encourage oneself every day to be strong and fit rather than proclaiming “I am”. It’s the practice and process that drives not the end goal.

Stephen Covey begin with the end in mind is where I first heard this idea. Though once the goal is reached, such as an Olympic gold media, this is not the end. Practice is eternal toward our best self

Growing up with Bruce Lee on the screen never imagined, like so many others, he yielded a practice that exceeded the physical philosophically. Learning about his a life as an adult find courage and bravery are less about how endowed we are on the outside. But the inner world is the entirety of who we are

Did not know what this was about. Just that it was made into a popular show.

After finishing Michael Reit’s series on the topic am surprised by the beginning of the novel dropped a clear intention of history unfolding. Providing yet another fourth perspective of events from WWll.

A disadvantage of back to back reads on the same topic is a risk of bias toward an authors style and character development

Well, that was a difficult week. Took me several to recover. This book, like scripture, unlocks a level. Like a video game. People say new level new devil. Me, it is not the devil but God who gives a better workout. Like a trainer, the Holy Spirit eggs me on to strengthen in waiting. Long suffering. Hindsight, recognize opportunity to ground in mindful patience as though the outcome is received. Worth the practice
