I was ready to stop reading this at the beginning because I was not feeling it (unlike the other books) at all. I’m so glad I persevered though, holy shit, this is going to be a favorite in this series I think. 🙊

I need to read this in segments because it’s such a true representation of what chronic pain is, and I can’t take too much of it without feeling too triggered. But still, incredible.

Can all hospitals workers, doctors, med-students, nurses, physiotherapists etc, be forced to read this first chapter? I think it would help. To understand chronic pain. Mona manages to describe it perfectly, scarily perfect.
