I’m picking up on the nods to Becca with the multiple sisters (one who is queer), they’ve mentioned Freya’s second season of finding a husband (Becca was on the Bachelor twice), Panorama mention (they met at the album release party)

I feel like he should’ve been aged down in the chapters talking about his past. He was 12 when everything happened but he reads as much younger, I think ages 5-7 would’ve been better

Is a twist going to be that Allie’s boyfriend isn’t in med school cause I don’t know how he’d be able to travel all over with her while doing a residency and in the number of years before that

I feel embarrassed for her and annoyed that she’s barely reading the book, shouldn’t that be high on the priority list?

The same information is just being repeated over and over. We’ve barely gotten anywhere

I get the sense that the author was more into writing the chapters set in the past than present day. There just seems to be more detail and thought in those chapters. You have a big reveal like that but the character barely reacts

Feels very middle of the road for me right now. I keep putting it down after a chapter but don’t hate it enough to DNF

Can she stop using the word belly to describe her stomach?

I feel like I’m reading two different books, I know there’s a part three so that’ll probably have a different tone

Feeling bored with this book, I’d DNF but my books from the library haven’t come in yet
