It has been decades since I read a John Steinbeck book. I listened to a few hours of this. I can’t give anymore time to it. I was disgusted. I felt gross after I read it. It’s a “classic”, and I couldn’t finish it….

I listened on audible for the first 18 chapters. I have wanted to read it, With all the hub-bub out there. However, I can’t get past the taking God’s name in vain
I hope other people will write reviews for books that have language. I don’t have taste for filthy language, even if it helps build the character
