<spoiler> I want to DNF. For a wolf pure of heart, Colton sure is an ass. I can’t even put into words how so many things that these characters do make no sense. The way things play out seem much more difficult than they should be. Over dramatic! And the sex! Even when they were apart for the first half, we had many dream encounters and solo sessions. When together, sex, conversation, sex & repeat. Ugh! </spoiler>

Omg! This book is so raunchy I’m not sure if I’m actually enjoying it even though it makes me laugh with horror!!!

I really like the book and narration, don’t get me wrong, but these two really need to communicate better, tell each other what they really want and are actually thinking. Collin’s and Judd’s insecurities and assumptions about each other are diving me crazy.

I have to put this aside at the moment. I don't know who to trust or how it will work out well. It is totally stressing me out... I'll have to come back when I'm in a better head space.

Holy cow! There’s been 4 heat scenes, plus sex against a tree and in a bed…the book is only 204 pgs long!!!

<spoiler>So... I loved this book on previous readings, but I can’t get over how much blame is put on Hudson over the incident. It was in no way his fault! And even if they weren’t bonded, Seb would have protected Hudson as a fellow teammate as he was the one in danger. The boy was in the wrong place at the wrong time. It was an accident and I hate that so many blamed them. </spoiler>

So this book has had a few funny moments so far but I'm finding the OTT banter and ridiculousness exhausting. I'm putting it down for a bit and will try again later....

I love Megan Maslow’s story of Rumplestilskin. It was a rich world with truly bad guys, morally dubious ones and those with hearts of gold. There’s action and sex but also humour and love.

I liked Gruff even though I didn’t like them jumping to conclusions. I do like Fox Hollow though and the fainting goat was cute.

I wasn’t familiar with Bluebeard’s tale but after I looked it up, this was a good retelling. I’d guessed about Dutch early on but liked how things resolved for them. Definitely a fairytale ending.

I loved Sam Burns’ story. A true fairy tale feeling.

I loved Rhys Lawless’s reimagined Beauty and the Beast! I hope they write more in this world! There was a lot going on but I really like all the characters.

Sooo... it is unbecoming for an alpha to divorce his wife to be with his male mate, but it’s ok to say the male mate is property and forfeit after losing a challenge?? Stupid!

This book is slow going. I think I’m going to respelled it for another time. It’s just not keeps my my interest.

Book one, Simon and Chip lived 4 hours away from granny’s village. In this book Simon is bumping into people who live in the village left right and centre as if they are only a few minutes away.

Bored...

"He looked like a tiny submissive, waiting for his Dom to come along and whap him with a whip." Is not an appropriate observation of a 4 year old. Neither is a 4 year old saying “Don’t watch. I know you like boys.” When getting ready for a bath. The author evidently knows very little about children.

I love that the bad "guys" are male as well as female. So often the soldiers are just men.
