been listening to the audiobook for a few days, really enjoy the dynamics so far.

not a fan of the mc. talks like we are children, patronizing, childish. Reads fast tho.

So far I chuckled once.

every scene with Maven is an absolute delight. but I am tiiiireeeed of Mara, the mc. please, release me 😭😭 and there is still another whole ass big book after this...

I have been reading this since the 5th and forgot to add it. I wish it was over, but I got still some ways to go.

some of the chapters are 30 pages, and I despair.

we had some very nice other povs, but they are few and far in between.

I will mark it as read, as the final 15 pages are a deleted scene exclusive to my edition 😊

loving this ao far. the gore parts are surprisingly easy to read and very entertaining. (there is a vomiting moment that didnt even phase me).

I really liked the start of thr book, but its losing me midway.

I started the audiobook at the beginnig of January but had a hard time following all the descriptions. Switched over to the ebook at 25%

while this is reylo fanfic, I do enjoy the male love interest's pov. sadly the fmc is written in a way only fanfic authors and haters would portray Rey 🤣

Coming from a romantasy book, this is just perfect. I cannot shut my brain off when I read silly things, and am starting to prefer literary fiction like this. It really makes me think and wonder.

I should have bought The knight and the Moth. or the sword lesbians. this is bs 🫠

I started this earlier this week. its the poster child for fake dating, opposites attract and the two falling for each other but not communicating this 😆

the audiobook is great and I like the characters a lot.

at first I thought this would be a boring read and not for me: I'm not the best with historical and do not care for ww2

no wonder people hated "Reckless", if LR also copied her homework from Aveyard in that regard 🤣

but all in all: I think this should've been a duology. Just so the author could have built more, taken their time. not do godawful exposition and accelerate the story at all the wrong moments.
