Okay the back cover blurb of the book and the shrouded figure on the front really donât align with the thesis of the book so farâmost cults are more maligned by society than they deserve and are often responses to cultural pressure that donât actually involve eating babies or sacrificing men in wicker structures (despite ceasarâs allegations against the Gauls.) enjoying the primary source material.
