dieses buch ist so ass omfg. die fragen am ende der kapitel "prüfen" regelmässig wissen, das gar nicht vermittelt wurde (offensichtlich, weil der abschnitt dazu in dieser ausgabe rausgeflogen ist, aber niemand anständig editiert). satzzeichen sind regelmässig falsch, sätze so fucking kompliziert for no reason, das gendern ist inkonsistent und "mEnScHeN sTerBeN fÜr iHr VaTeRLaNd!!". liberalism fr bah

my sibling in christ, please don't translate "to crush on" with "einen narren gefressen haben". und soooo umständlich und weirdly förmlich in general omfg

die übersetzung ist viiel zu nah am orignial. das mag für litfic super sein, aber was für ein ziel sollen umständliche, 1:1 übersetzte formulierungen in einem fachbuch erfüllen? fasst halt den inhalt und die grobe struktur zusammen?! das gendern ist auch abysmal gemacht und der girlboss feminismus fast nicht auszuhalten
immerhin ist es, von der holprigen sprache abgesehen, nicht schwer zu lesen und recht verständlich

like... i think this is an important book but i already had a hard time coming back to it for some reason. and now that noam chomsky, leftist poster child and beloved public intellectual, has turned out to be a misogynistic asshole, i don't know if i even want to go on. i'm not saying this makes this book unimportant, i'm just saying there's other good books out there and he pisses me of, so why should i go on

german translation is horrendous and the liberal viewpoint (i say this as a leftist, just to be clear) is historically very questionable (the civil rights movement was totally non-violent and that's why it worked out, yeah sure, tell that to the trailblazers with the black panther party and basically every single black radical thinker)
