I don’t usually make comments mid-story, but is it just me or has Helen gotten the RAWEST FUCKING DEAL out of any side character in any book ever??? Like she was the absolute nicest friend/roomie and has been kidnapped and held in captivity, tortured, and abused for 3 goddamn books and nearly an entire calendar year now. Can someone please save her already?? wtf

It’s been so long since I read book 1 & 2 so let’s see if I can pick this up or if I need to go back and reread the first 2 😂

Rereading this one as my friend reads it for the first time so I can lend moral support. I’ve been putting this reread off for years because the beginning is so devastating 😭

I’m only like 30% in, but I absolutely love it so much. Something about this series is just so special

This is a story about an alcoholic womanizer and a woman who is way too good for him and gives him 8000 chances to not be a total asshole

90% done and things have escalated very quickly. All as a result of really stupid decisions and lack of communication 😬

I’m about 75% through this one and literally nothing has happened yet 🤣🤣🤣

I think I’m like 90% done, but it feels like it’s taking forever. Way too much hiking and a way too obvious villain with obtuse characters the whole time.

I can’t believe I’m only halfway through this book, I figured out who the killer is before anyone was even killed and I can’t believe it’s taking them this long to figure it out. It could have been wrapped up by now, but everyone is stupid

I’m about halfway through, but wow the other reviews that call the heroine out as TSTL are spot on.

Just as good as I remembered

I bought this book on accident, but I REALLY like it so far!

DNF: I just couldn’t get into this book. The beginning is pretty slow and has a LOT of explanation. There wasn’t anything necessarily bad about the book, it just couldn’t hold my attention

Having a tough time with this one so far... the story is just okay but the grammatical errors are overwhelming. It’s hard to read some parts because of that. A bit disappointing since I actually paid for it and it’s not on KU. I’ll probably finish it, but I’m not sure if I’ll be able to move onto the next in the series...
